The first national edition of the acceleration program dedicated to start-ups in the medical sector brought 16 projects together on Thursday 24/05 (7 Walloon Region, 5 Brussels Region and 4 Flemish Region).
The MedTech Accelerator (Medtech Flanders, Medtech Wallonia and lifetech.brussels) supported these projects by informing and training entrepreneurs so that they could identify the risks of their project in the eyes of the healthcare community early enough and take the necessary steps to make them a success.
The evening allowed people to go on to discover companies like Cellsine, which works on a technology based on the electrical impedance. The project plans to interact with doctors as explained by Eddy-Tim Verjans: "Physicians will be able to offer their patients an improved and personalized treatment against cancer, using tumor cell culture that will be exposed to different alternatives.
